We’re very proud to be working with two highly-innovative British Tech companies: CleanSpace and Inmarsat. Together, we’re undertaking the largest air pollution research project in London. Gophr is providing cycle couriers with CleanSpace tags and Inmarsat LORA moats to track air pollution levels across the capital. These will help to conduct the most detailed study of air quality levels ever undertaken in the city.
The partnership came about when Lord Drayson (of Drayson Technologies), Freevolt (makers of the CleanSpace tag) and our Founder, Seb Robert, were introduced. Inmarsat then approached us within weeks. We decided to pull all our resources together to see where this collaboration could take us.
Our study volunteers repped CleanSpace and Inmarsat in these pretty sick cycle jerseys:
If you’re interested in recording your exposure to harmful carbon monoxide, these tags works with the CleanSpace App to plan clean routes, avoid pollution hotspots and visualise trends.
About CleanSpace™
CleanSpace™ is an IoT sensor network to monitor air pollution. It uses a machine-learning network of connected smart sensors powered by Freevolt to create the world’s most advanced map of air pollution to enable people to “see the air they breathe” and to help enterprises and municipalities implement projects that improve air quality. CleanSpace was designed and built by Drayson Technologies and launched in the UK in Q4 2015.
