What is an e-commerce courier integration?

Simple question – long answer. An integration takes care of all the automated dispatch processes, from booking deliveries to sending tracking links and confirming proof of delivery. Gophr offers native integrations with platforms like Shopify, Metapack, Evermile, and Snappy Shopper. We also have an open API for businesses that require custom integrations with their e-commerce stack. 

What is the cost of an e-commerce courier integration with Gophr

There is no added fee for deliveries via APIs and integrations.

As for the cost of the integration itself – typically our team will offer guidance, but you will be expected to handle the dev requirements.

If the integration needs to handle high volumes of deliveries, then the integrations team will provide hands on support as required.

How do I access your real-time tracking?

We provide public tracking URL’s for each delivery, these can be forwarded to your customers to allow live tracking of deliveries.

How do I request an API key?

To get an API key, fill out this form and one of our team will be in contact.

What conventions does Gophr’s API follow?

  • It makes use of standard HTTP methods like GET, POST, PATCH and DELETE
  • Uses standard HTTP status codes to describe errors
  • Authentication is done via API-Key
  • All requests must be sent via SSL (https://)
  • POST / PATCH data must be encoded as application/json
  • Responses are encoded as application/json

What environments can we use your API in?

We have two environments available for you to use, Sandbox and Production.

What configurations can I set up?

Available options include choosing which shop locations Gophr rates will show for and offering free delivery over a set order value.

How do I get a quote?

Once you’ve selected Gophr as a last-mile provider, quotes for qualifying jobs will automatically be shown to your customers at checkout as an available shipping method.

Can I track my deliveries?

Once a job has been booked, Zapiet will link to the admin view of the Gophr live tracking screen.

If you want to check the status of a job, these will appear in the timeline section.

Can I cancel a Gophr job through Shopify?

Yes, you can cancel a job through the Shopify admin screen.

However, cancellations are only possible before the job has been allocated to a delivery driver. You can check if the job has been allocated through your customer portal.

If you need to cancel a job after it has been allocated, please contact our customer support team via live chat.

Why do I need to create packaging rules?

Weight-based rules ensure that Gophr is able to automatically detect the vehicle type needed to successfully deliver your parcel.

Gophr quotes will not appear to your customers at checkout if the package falls outside of these rules.
