What’s new in this updated version of the app for couriers:

  • As you’re aware now we have new vehicle types, cars, small vans and large vans. So we’ve made the app compatible with this new feature.
  • The ETAs for future scheduled jobs will now be visible, bear in mind these will be more accurate the closer the time for the job to start as we cannot predict, for example, where you will be the following day.
  • You’ll notice that now the addresses on job board are protected, in line with our updated T&Cs we will only enable the currently assigned couriers to have access to complete addresses.

Additional improvements we have included for you because we’re nice:

  • The order refusals flow is now smoother and faster to prevent the initial confusion when completing this kind of jobs.
  • We’ve improved the waiting time clock to account for network time differences and the app being in the background or shut down.
  • The app now manages in a more sensible way the suspended state, when access is restricted to essential parts of the application.
  • Fixed some errors appearing on the diagnostics tool that were affecting app tracking and internal service records.
  • System updates and data management changes have been added to improve the way the app works and remove issues for Android 8 and iOS 11 users.
  Important note: If you’re running Android 8 you might still find that the sound for the notifications doesn’t always work as expected, we’re working on fixing this as soon as possible!

What’s new in this updated version of the app for couriers:

  • We have enabled a new diagnostics tool to help when you suspect there are issues preventing the app from functioning correctly (e.g. location updates, notifications) you can find it in the app menu or your profile settings.

  • There will be new options available: cars and large-vans. If your vehicle falls into any of these 2 categories we might require you to get in touch with us.

  • Added some changes to refine the GPS tracking including reduced location updates in case the app is working overnight.

  • Fixed repeated network calls that were keeping the app unnecessarily busy.

  • We have also included improvements to the signature image loading.

  • Last but not least, we’ve taken care of a few issues with the app loading and background services to keep everything running smoothly.

What’s new in this updated version of the app for couriers:

  •  We’ve reduced the location updates frequency based on distance to preserve battery life.

  • We have a new notification that alerts you when you arrive too early to the delivery location. This will prevent you from wasting your time and reduce customer complaints.

  • Some files were not being uploaded properly because they were to heavy so we’ve improved the way we load images from your camera into our app.

What’s new in this updated version for the customer’s booking app:

  • We’ve fixed the settings for job deadlines that have been presenting some errors when loading old drafts or booking outside of regular hours.
  • The error loading working area for new users is now sorted and it is no longer necessary to restart the app after login.
  • Adding job locations is now faster as we’re only checking the addresses when they change instead of every step of the way.

  • The courier details should be available with just a tap on the job tracking, the swipe function has been disabled for now.
  • System updates and data management changes have been added to improve the way the app works and keep our technology up to date with current advances.

What’s new in this updated version of the app for couriers:

  • Some jobs may now require you perform an ID check and the recipient will have the possibility to refuse some or all of the items in the order.

  • The app will be able to indicate if a new version is available for you to download from the next version onwards.

  • We have reduced the amount of location updates if you only have overnight jobs on board. This will consume less data and save battery.

  • The job board is no longer a permanent screen, making it faster to load new job notifications when necessary.

  • The requests for password reset are now managed in-app, making it faster and more convenient.

  • The nasty bug preventing location updates on Samsung S8 devices is now accounted for and if you have one of these devices the location will now be updated properly.

  • Local data storage capacity is increased to prevent issues loading proof of delivery pictures.

  • Multi-jobs will now allow you confirm all parcels at pickup in one go, instead of having to confirm each one individually.

  • Google has changed the way login is shared with other applications so if you use this option with us you will need this version to keep using the app.

  • Job contact buttons are bigger to make them easier to tap on.

  • We’ve changed the way cancellation requests are managed so you won’t need to log out / in when there’s been a mistake.

  • The waiting charges functionality is now being initialised properly.

  • We’ve fixed a bug that didn’t save you name correctly on the profile details.

What’s new in this updated version of the app for couriers:

  • We’ve replaced the office phone call with the live chat contact on the cancellation request, to make everyone’s lives easier.

  • On the waiting time window, you can now submit address changes and add extra notes for outstanding waiting times, which makes it easier to track inconvenient situations and keep a better communication.

  • We’ve added the booker’s contact information on the job (when available) to help you sort out any issues faster and with the right person at any step of the way.

What’s new in this updated version of the app for couriers:

  • As requested by you and some of our customers as well we now have independent food settings so you can which special jobs you want to receive or not.

  • We are now introducing a live chat support for couriers inside the app, to make it easier to get help or report any issue.

  • Improvements on the courier to customer contact now enable you to know which numbers are available at each job location.

  • The waiting reasons will now require notes if an incorrect address is provided so we can double check and better communicate to the customer any delays.

  • Added support for the newest job priorities enabled for some of our partner customers.

  • Major system and library updates to improve the quality of our apps.

  • Fixed the display error observed when logging in with social media.

  • We got rid of some errors related to image file uploads.

  • Some tracking was added to help us understand better the use of the app and how to help you when any issue occurs.

What’s new in this updated version of the app for couriers:

  • When changing a job status fails, it should let you retry with success the next time instead of failing repeatedly, which was completely annoying.
  • Added explicit numeric package sizes (in CM) alongside the text descriptions to make it easier for you to figure out what you should be picking up.
  • The waiting time is now controlled with a slider which makes it much easier to use and less error prone since it’s colour coded when the charges are being applied.
  • New job notifications will scroll the list up to the beginning of the page to make it easier and faster for you to check what’s coming your way.
  • Due to documentation and availability restrictions, as of now switching vehicle types on the app requires our explicit approval so you’d have to contact us to do this for you if needed be.

Additional improvements we have included for you because we’re nice:

  • Fixed an issue when checking if the registration number was added to the profile of motorbike and van profiles.
  • Improvements to the map management and calculating distances taking into account the GPS accuracy.
  • Timed-out notifications should now disappear without much delay to avoid the disappointment of trying to accept a job that’s no longer available.
  • Removed some cryptic error messages generated due to connectivity or missing location updates.
  • Some system improvements behind the scenes to keep our technology up to date with the latest platform upgrades.
